Debargue Lucas - Scarlatti -Box Set-

Fakta It all started with this special collection of the scores of all 555 Scarlatti sonatas, Lucas fell in love with at a bookstore in Paris. He would have done everything to own it, but he was a poor student and couldn't afford it. These little miniatures in scores, all collected in one encyclopedia - he studied them only by reading the score and thus explored the beautiful music they were hiding. Lucas knew, that all of the famous pianists had played and even recorded the Scarlatti sonatas. But he also knew, that there must be more to be discovered. And he decided to share his deep love with this music one day with the world. One day, the owner of the store called him to tell him that the sonata collection would be on sale right now. Finally Lucas went to the shop and bought the scores. In 2018, the dream came true and Lucas recorded his selection of 52 sonatas.
